Ever wonder exactly how to get your first (or next) team member for your Thirty-One biz?
That's why I wanted to introduce you to Michele Julian, my newest biz partner in my Thirty-One Gifts Biz.
I met Michele a few months ago in Get Gutsy Coach Training School and as luck should have it we were paired up and she was assigned to be my "client" --- and a dream client she is but that's another post -- so I've been biz coaching her for 3 months now.
Last week we had the opportunity to meet in person at our live Master Class hosted by our Coach Jenny Fenig. Michele asked me if I could bring along my bags so she could see them.
Note: She did know I sold Thirty-One because I brought it up in a previous conversation -- not in a pushy buy my bags kind of way... turns out she's a "bag lady" too!
Step 1 INTRODUCE PEOPLE TO WHAT YOU SELL
Before I even showed her one bag I asked: What are you looking for?
Step 2 ASK THEM WHAT THEY NEED
Michele told me that she was looking for a bag to carry all her coach training materials, laptop, binder, etc. and I knew EXACTLY which bag was perfect for her. I even knew purple was her fave color and that's the color my perfect bag was! So I tell her I have the perfect bag for you and I show her THAT one bag.
Step 3 OFFER A SOLUTION
I didn't "SELL" her anything. I shared with her a product that fit a problem she had (keeping all her crap in one place) and offered her a way to organize in style. We parted ways and the next time we talked she said "So tell me more about these bags!"
And I'm thrilled to say she is now my newest team member!
